Studies On Terpenoids From Duchesnea India(Andr.)Focke

Duchesnea india(Andr.)Focke,which belongs to the Rosaceae perennial herbs.It only contained in the traditional Chinese medicine book "Mingyi Bielu",also recorded in the "Textual Research on Reality and Titles of Plants" and "Compendium of Materia Medica".It is widely distributed in our country,the whole plant can be used for medicine.Duchesnea india(Andr.)Focke has extensive pharmacological effects.Such as detumescence,expelling blood stasis,clearing heat and detoxicating,cool the blood,anticancer,etc.This article according to the domestic and abroad reports relative to Duchesnea india(Andr.)Focke,summarized the progress of study on the chemical constituents,pharmacological effects and clinical applications.Meanwhile,summarized the research progress of terpenoid compounds in natural products.We found that there are few report about the antioxidant activity and tyrosinase inhibitory activity of the Duchesnea india(Andr.)Focke.This study in order to the DPPH free radical scavenging activity and tyrosinase inhibitory activity test as the guide,and use the SiO2 normal phase column chromatography,ODS column chromatography,TLC,HPLC and other modern chromatographic methods to separate the acetone extract and dichloromethane extracts of Duchesnea india(Andr.)Focke.Twenty-four components were obtained and the structures of three terpenoids were identified by nuclear magnetic resonance,mass spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy.To test the biological activity of the isolated compounds,the results showed that compounds had a certain scavenging ability to DPPH free radical.And compounds 6,7,16,19 and 20 had significant inhibitory effect on tyrosinase,the inhibitory rates were above 90%.The inhibitory effect of compound 6 on tyrosinase was especially prominent,the inhibition rate was 99.2%and slightly higher than the positive control of kojic acid.
