| Main production method for EG is direct hydration route from EO at present. The wastewater with high density pollutant during the producing. The concentration of COD is about 3000mg/L~6000mg/L. Different quality analysis methods were used to analyze the wastewater of EO/EG. The qualitative and quantitative method for the volatile and semi-volatile organic pollutants was established. Macroporous adsorption resin(XAD-8) was used to classify different components. A 28 days experiment was used to evaluation of ultimate aerobic biodegradability of organic compounds. The EEMs and ultraviolet spectrum results showed that the organic matters were protein-like matters which would be related to aromatics alkanes and alcohols. Contrasted the results of P&T-GC/MS, HS-GC/MS and SPME-GC/MS, the P&T-GC/MS is more suitable for detection. The optimum conditions for the detection were as following :water samples 2 ml,purge gas flow rate of 45 ml /min, purge time 15 min, analytical flow rate of 200 ml/min, resolution time 1.5 min, drying temperature 220℃,drying time 6min, influent temperature 200℃,split ratio of 50:1,septum purge flow of 0.8 ml/min, transfer temperature of 180℃. The correlative curve linearity is all right. The EO is 310 mg/L, ethanol is 5370 mg/L.The relative standard deviations were less than 3.5% and the recovery rates were 95%-114%.LLE was more suitable for detecting semi-volatile organic matters than SPME. The best detection condition are as follows :neutral condition, the amount of water samples 100 ml, extraction solvent(methylene chloride) in an amount of 15 ml,three times and 2min each time. Nitrogen blowing temperature 30℃,flow rate 800ml/min, influent temperature of 300℃,transfer temperature 300℃.Dissolved organic matters in the EO/EG wastewater were isolated and fractionated using resin adsorption method. The fractions were operationally categorized as hydrophobic bases, hydrophilic substances, hydrophobic acids and hydrophobic neutrals. The proportion of HIS in the residual TOC was about 89%, HON was the main fluorescent substances. The proportion of TOC has no correlation with SUVA and fluorescence intensity, but there was a positive correlation between SUVA and fluorescence intensity.Under the conditions of COD 1000mg/L,sludge concentration 1000mg/L, aeration rate of 800ml/min, the removal rate of organic matters about 100% after 28 days. Due to the death of microorganism, the COD of blank control group was decreased after 10 days. It also showed that there was no other factors can degrade COD. 2-(chloromethyl)-1,3-dioxolane was determined in the effluent of aeration It was not been removed completely. The phenomenon may be caused by low sludge concentration, short HRT or high strength influent. |
