Caragana microphylla Lam,Caragana intermedia Kuang er H.C.Fu.and Caragana korshinskii Kom.are three geographical substitutes of Caragana in the plateau of Inner Mongolia,all of which are perennial shrubs.The experimental material of this study was taken from the natural formation population in Inner Mongolia Plateau,including five Caragana microphylla populations,eight Caragana intermedia populations and three Caragana korshinskii populations,analyze their morphological characteristics;Genetic diversity of three species was studied by SSR molecular marker technique;Combined with meteorological and soil factors analysis the influence of environment on morphological and genetic diversity.The main results are as follows:(1)Three Caragana populations(height and width)for the degree of variation of Caragana intermedia>Caragana m icrophyl la>Caragana korshinskii,there is significant correlation between morphological characteristics and effective accumulated temperature,annual precipitation,soil pH,soil total phosphorus content.(2)Three kinds of Caragana have relatively rich abundant genetic diversity,the percentage of poiymorphic loci,Nei's genetic diversity inaex ana Shannon information index show that the genetic diversity from big to small order for Caragana korshinskii>Caragana intermedia>Caragana microphylla;(3)The level of genetic differentiation from big to small order for Caragana intermedia>Caragana microphylla>Caragana kors h in s kii,Among the three Caragana species,Caragana intermedia is widely distributed from typical steppe to desert,and the higher genetic differentiation is the genetic basis for its development.(4)It can be seen from the cluster diagram that the three species of Caragana can be distinguished from each other,and the transfer of Caragana intermedia in the cluster is consistent with the gradation of its geographical distribution.(5)Mantel test show that there is no significant correlation between genetic distance and geographic distance.(6)Stepwise regression showed that the genetic diversity index of three species of Caragana was significantly correlated with effective accumulated temperature,sunshine duration,average temperature,soil organic carbon,soil total nitrogen content.
