With the rapid development of magnetic prospecting technology, now it has entered a new stage of high precision measurement, quantitative processing data and inversion, the strong remanent magnetization of magnetic rock(ore) bodies and its influence has reached the point where they cannot be ignored. In the work area of strong remanent magnetism field, magnetic survey data contains significant residual magnetism effect, not only affects the size of the total magnetization, but also affect its direction. If we don’t consider the effect of remanent magnetization, when we make magnetic survey work in the field that the remanent magnetization is stronger, it will larger influence on data processing and interpretation of results. In this background, this paper studies the influence of remanent magnetization about the magnetic survey data processing method, promising to guidance and reference the production practice.First, the mathematical model is set up to simulate the sphere abnormal curve, studied with the increase of remanent magnetization, the change of profile curve. Confirmed that along with the increase of the remanent magnetization the the distortion of the curve is more and more serious, it can affect late data processing.Secondly, through simulation experiment, compared with the consideration of residual magnetism and does not consider remanent magnetism in the forward differences plane contour map, especially for the effect after the pole are analyzed. Obtained that in strong remanence magnetization field, pole method must be use very carefully, providing a reference for the observed data of interpretation.In order to obtain the magnetic distribution characteristics of the study area, we make data processing of the area.
