Hydrogel photonic crystal was combined with adsorption and layer-by-layer assembly to build relevant modified photonic crystals. A real-time detection of the wavelength of Bragg diffraction peaks can be used to characterize the process of adsorption and layer-by-layer assembly. The main content of this paper is:1?Firstly, humic acid immobilized photonic crystals were prepared and HA-Cd2+ binary adsorption equilibrium was built on the surface of hydrogel photonic crystal via the force of coordination. Tetracycline was then chosen to build HA-Cd2+-tetracycline ternary adsorption equilibrium on the basis of HA-Cd2+ binary adsorption equilibrium. A linear relationship was found between the wavelength of the shift of diffraction peak and the logarithm of concentrations of tetracycline from 10-12 mol/L to 10-7 mol/L at pH 5.5. Schematics of A?absorbance?-c?concentration? can be built through absorption spectrophotometry. Through the analysis of A-c and ??-lgc, the relationship of A and ?? was established to characterize the process of adsorption.2?Monodisperse polystyrene?PS? microspheres were prepared by emulsion polymerization. Vertical deposition method was used to load polystyrene microspheres self-assembly on the glass substrates. Acrylamides photonic crystal hydrogel was prepared by capillary force penetration method. Layer-by-layer assemblies were conducted on the surface of photonic crystal hydrogel via electrostatic interaction and coordination. The influence factors of pH and response time were investigated to determine optimum pH and response time. The change of Bragg diffraction peaks thus can be selected to characterize the process of layer-by-layer assembly.
