International market is facing more intense competition in the 21 st century. Quality is the most powerful strategic competitive weapon of enterprises, the key to improve efficiency and survive. For manufacturing, product quality which is involved in all stages of the product life cycle is originated in the market, decided by design, achieved through manufacturing and reflected in use. Therefore, in order to improve the level of quality management, and to improve product quality, manufacturing companies should implement product life cycle quality management. Product life cycle quality management includes three key processes. They are quality design, quality control and quality evaluation. The way to complete the three key quality management processes scientifically and effectively is an effective guarantee for enterprises to implement product life cycle quality management.In addition, with the development of information technology and network technology, how combine information technology, network technology with quality management technology in the networked manufacturing environment will become hot in manufacturing.Based on product quality management and the product life cycle as the main line, this paper discusses the quality of the products design, process quality control and evaluation of product quality. Meanwhile, a car enterprise is located in Shanghai as the engineering background. The paper will combine the theoretical research and practical application of product life cycle quality management. First of all, the quality of the products are analyzed the methods based on QFD and FMEA, integrated them, and established a comprehensive model. This style is associated with the product quality of all aspects of the design and the various failure modes, and it improves the quality of product design. Secondly, the problem of the process quality control is studied, and the main problems of SPC control chart are analyzed, and the quality control method based on the similar process is constructed. Thirdly, this paper explains to the total product quality evaluation, constructs to a product life cycle oriented quality evaluation system, and applied to evaluate each stage of product life cycle quality with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. And it adopts to solve the weight problem of the index in the evaluation process with the analytic hierarchy process to improve the accuracy of evaluation results. Finally, according to the product life cycle quality management system research and application, the research methods of three key——quality design, quality control and quality evaluation of product life cycle quality management based on quality management are designed to the product life cycle system, and verified to the effectiveness of the system with examples.
