With the deepening of financial reform, banks with diverse sizes and property natures appear in large numbers,which causes the escalating competition in the market. The overall development of commercial banks is facing an unprecedented severe test. In the product homogeneity of the financial industry, the service has been given a new meaning. It not only becomes the major method of competition, but also becomes the key point for the bank to meet the challenge and win to survive and develop. The job satisfaction of bank employees determines the quality of their service to a large extent. Therefore, in order to have good performance and reputation, banks need to highly focus on employees’ satisfaction, building sense of community among the employees and implementing people-oriented management.We take Suzhou branch of A bank employees as the research object.Through questionnaire survey and interviews, we found that the bank staff are not satisfied with their job. We hope to take the appropriate measures to improve their situation and constantly promote the value of employees and to maximize the majority of employees’ creativity of value. Based on the related theories of employee satisfaction, including the research at home and abroad, researchers found the source of bank employee satisfaction is divided into six dimensions:jobs, salary performance, development opportunities, work recognition, leadership and management, the relationship between colleagues.Our questionnaire designed 99 items of research, using Li Kete the five point scale scoring method to score each item. Through data analysis, we know that Suzhou branch of A bank employees think they should work in the main part of the salary and welfare improvement.There should be more development opportunities.They also think they work in the environment of income inequality,full of heavy task and pressure.Also,people with different gender, age, education, jobs have significant differences in job satisfaction. Therefore Suzhou branch of A bank should take measures to improve the employee satisfaction and improve employee’s enthusiasm.
