| By now. Private Technology Enterprises are playing an important role in economic and technology development. Strengthening knowledge workers’ motivation and creation are a significant issue for keeping competitiveness of Private Technology Enterprises. Simultaneously, another issue that knowledge workers’career plan and ability improvement is also essential for human resource management of private technology enterprises. This paper aims to explore a novel human resource management mode of motivating knowledge workers, and improve company management efficiency and promote ability exploitation of workers.First, we briefly introduce the definition of private technology enterprises, knowledge workers and spiritual motivation mentioned by previous studies. Then the spiritual motivation situation is the analyzed. By comparing with spiritual motivation, we figure out the weakness of material incentives, and the improvement we could achieve from spiritual motivation. Additionally, the methods of spiritual motivation are classified by work contents. Based on the theoretical study, we adopt questionnaire and interview with 900 workers from 10 different Private Technology Enterprises. The results show that the different motivations are needed for the different career development stages. Therefore, the specific spiritual motivation mode should be applied to achieve the diversity of career development of workers and a win-win situation for enterprises. Finally, the possible problems of applying spiritual motivation are analyzed and solved. |
