Nowadays, horizontal organizational structure and the change of management does not only influence the organization staffs career, but also changes the employers and employees’ psychological contract. Career growth has gradually become one of the standards when people choose their jobs. Career growth plays an important role in the enterprise human resources management, what is more, as one of the most important aspects of the business organization, job performance is also the key to enterprises human resource management. As the current employees and enterprise common concerns, career growth will inevitably have an impact on employee’s work performance. The research attempts to discuss the issue of employee job performance from the perspective of career growth and tries to make contributions on how to manage the enterprise staff, realizing the rapid growth of employees and promoting the organization development.Based on the related research review as well as with the aid of social exchange theory, the paper analyzes and builds hypothesis about the relationship of career growth and the job performance of the employee. In this model, this paper tries to discuss the effects career growth have on job performance, clarify the role of enterprise employees’ organizational commitment in his professional between career growth and the job performance, expounds the relationship of the professional growth, organizational commitment and job performance. In order to verify these hypothesis,186 valid samples are collected. This paper draws the following conclusions through data analysis:Firstly, career growth and its dimensions have significant effect on job performance and its two dimensions.Secondly, career growth and its four dimensions are positively related to organizational commitment, especially the dimension of the promotion speed.Thirdly, organizational commitment and job performance are positively related, and relevance to task performance is bigger than relevance to the surround performance.Finally, organizational commitment plays the role of complete mediation in the relationship of career growth and job performance and its two dimensions.
