Investors Relation Management(IRM) originated from America in the 1930 s, and developed during the economic boom after the World War II. In the early 21 st century, our capital market introduced the concept of IRM, and this practice gradually aroused the concern of the enterprises and regulators. With the opening up of our country’s capital market, the commercial Banks also begin to raise funds by going public. Now, in the weakening global economic environment, the domestic stock market is very unstable, and the "Lying to earn money" era of Banks has ended, and the listed commercial Banks’ asset quality is not optimistic. In 2015, the stocks’ price of many listed commercial Banks which ever regarded as the blue chip, broke the net assets for the first time. There is a serious shortage of investor confidence, which will lead to the instability of share price and the underestimation of market value, etc. The above-mentioned problems highlight the necessity of implementing IRM to the listed commercial Banks. And the first step of improving this practice is to establish the IRM evaluation index system which used to measure the level of IRM, find holes and guide this practice. This article puts the IRM evaluation of listed commercial Banks as the main research content. And this article will build a more comprehensive and pointed IRM evaluation system, based on summarizing and analyzing the relevant theory and concepts about IRM from domestic and overseas, in order to guide the IRM practice in listed commercial Banks. In this paper, the fifth chapter selects the bank of China limited which has rich experience in IRM as the case study object, to evaluate its daily IRM and analyze the level of the special IRM work which were took during the Subprime mortgage crisis in 2007 and the refinancing in 2010. Finally, this article will summarize the successful experiences from the bank of China limited, to offer reference for other listed commercial Banks to improve their IRM practice.
