The Research On The Impact On Sinorussian Automotive Trade Cooperation From Tariff Concessions

In era of the world globalization, each country’s sustainable development is impossible without cooperation with the rest of the world. Thus, a country’s economic development is impossible without integration into the world economy. The theory of international trade has a long history. Most of the scholars who had been developing theories of international trade, concluded that international trade is beneficial for country. Moreover, supporters of free trade theories state that free international trade is more favorable for a country’s economic development. Because protectionism fences in economy from the modern directions of development and the world innovations, and also it protects economy from the foreign competition, which makes economy less competitive, and moves it backward from the rest of the world. Creation of World Trade Organization was a step forward to the world trade integration.Sino-Russian relationship has a long history of cooperation. Nowadays, automotive industry is one of the priority industries for both countries. Moreover, automotive industry is one of the most protected industries in both countries. Since, Sino-Russian automotive cooperation has good prospects for the future developing. It would be more beneficial for China and Russia to make their bilateral automotive trade more open. China already stepped towards the economic opening 30 years ago, and Russia just recently broke the ice by joining the WTO.Hence, our research focuses on the tariff concessions which Russia has implemented after joining the WTO, and moreover it focuses on tariff concessions’ impact on Russian industry, and international trade between China and Russia. The industry we chose for the research is automotive industry, since it is one of the most vulnerable industries. With a rеview of relаted literаtures, this pаper puts forward a current situation of research on this area. In order to analyze the tariff concessions impact, we use the quantitative analysis. After collecting of the statistical data, there was made a statistical analysis of it, including analysis of the dynamic and structure, regression and correlation analysis, forecasting analysis. On this bases, we have determined the factors which may have an influence on Sino-Russian automotive trade, and the determinant role of the tariff concessions was verified. Moreover, we have determined the future prospects of Sino-Russian automotive trade. Accоrding to the rеsults we put fоrward to sоme direction of developing of Sino-Russian automotive cooperation.
