Abstract:Cloud computing is another wave of science and technology in electronic information field after computer and internet. With the advent of the cloud era, more and more users would like to store their data in cloud server and it is convenient to use and reduce storage cost. Network cloud disk reduces the user’s storage costs greatly and exempt from its management work. Although these services has brought convenience to the user, we also need to realize that the security risks. Through cloud disk services, users can store data in the cloud server unlike the local physical protection. Since cloud server may not be enough safe and reliable, in order to keep the security, data are usually stored in encrypted form in the cloud. It is extremely difficult to search for a particular file in a vast amount of encrypted files after data encryption. Searchable encryption focuses on the safety, reliability, and efficiency of search process, ensures that the user can support keyword search over encrypted data, and does not affect its use experience at the same time.Compared with traditional passwords, biometrics passwords are more convenient to be taken and hard to be forgotten. With the popularity of fingerprint identification technology apply on smart phones, many technology companies use biometric to replace the traditional password. They use biometric template as the key to encrypt the information in order to ensure the security. With the development of information science and technology, more and more companies began to get involved in the biometric identification program in order to change the chaos caused by the traditional password. People usually use the easy password and upload to the cloud server. Unlike this, the biometric is stored in the local device and needn’t to upload to the cloud server.We combine biometric and searchable encryption to make searching keywords convenience、safe and quick.This thesis constructs two basic models by combining biometric and searchable encryption, the first searchable encryption model is the model of U-S-U:users upload their data for their own search,The user uploads encrypted data and keywords to server and can search by biometric key, which is commonly used in our cloud disk. The second searchable encryption model is the model of U-S-U’:users upload data and the third-party can search. The scheme can be applied to medical system. A hospital has some confidential data such as electronic medical records which are stored in a cloud server. Sensitive information must be encrypted before outsourcing for patients’privacy. When patients want to find goal doctor for treat and don’t want anyone else to know. It is a difficult problem to obtain the patient’s electronic medical record in cloud server for protecting the patient’s privacy. The goal doctor can search the patient’s medical record by their biometric.This thesis will construct a new searchable encryption system based on biometrics and propose two schemes based on different difficult problems. Compared with the existing search encryption schemes, with combining biometrics our new schemes improves the flexibility, practicability and security.
