Gas facilities and public security, transportation, the safety of nuclear facilities is one of the important problems of social safety, the above facilities and areas in the night fog video monitoring technology uses A single band imaging technology mostly black and white images, judgment is weak. Multichannel imaging technology is through the different band of the image sensor for the same target scene imaging, combined with the characteristics of each band imaging algorithm through a series of images, finally got a more information, more suitable for the human eye observation. The system adopts the multiband imaging techniques to implement all-weather construction color video.In this paper, on the basis of existing image collection and the characteristics of the monitored area, based on multichannel imaging principle and digital image processing technology, design and finished a set of fixed area night fog condition color video monitor system. Developed and completed a set of software system, including the writing of image processing algorithms and optimization and software framework of real-time image processing. The system with a visible camera and an infrared thermal imager sensor array for the same target scene imaging. Using optical imaging system in good weather during the day to monitor the monitored area and build a panoramic image, When atmospheric visibility is low or when the light is not enough, enabling the infrared camera, combining Gaussian mixture model with symmetric difference, establishment and update the background, then according to the finite difference method to extract the infrared moving object in video sequences. Based on the system initialization calibration fusion in visible panoramic image, in the final output real-time color video sequence. Fully embody the night fog condition of moving targets and the background information, meet the demand of human eye vision, auxiliary decision-making for emergency events.Experiments in local areas and on-site installation and testing proves that the system of technical scheme is feasible. System completed the multiband image real-time acquisition, processing, transmission and display, reached the night fog condition of the monitored area real-time color video monitor effect, the effect can meet the basic requirements of the project.
