| The continuous technological advancement of communication systems has led to increased demand of antennas for miniaturization, broadband and multiband. The antenna plays a crucial role in the modern communication system, its performance directly affects the property of the whole system.The traditional optimization algorithms might fail to obtain the global optimal solution for highly nonlinear optimization problem in antenna design, while PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) has some advantages in structural complexity, the ability to find the best solution and so on. However, PSO still has some defects, such as premature convergence, fall into local optimization. There are plenty of spaces to improve in its application to the optimization design of antenna. The design of RFID reader antenna and WLAN/WiMAX multiband antenna, the improvement of PSO algorithm as well as its application in the design of antenna optimization have been investigated systematically.The major contributions are as follows:(1)A LHS-Cultural based Particle Swarm Optimization(LHS-CBPSO)algorithm is proposed. The simulation results show that LHS-CBPSO can avoid the astringency of local extremum while it also has a high search precision and convergence speed.(2)A optimizing program based on the combination of LHS-CBPSO with HFSS is proposed. By utilizing this program, a RFID reader antenna is designed. The results show that the program can effectively solve the antenna optimization design problem.(3)Constructing Kriging model to replace time-consuming HFSS simulation evaluation, the model is updated to improve the approximation accuracy. A optimizing program based on the combination of Dynamic Kriging Model LHS-CBPSO with HFSS is proposed.(4)By utilizing this program, a WLAN/WiMAX antenna which covers the all required bandwidths of WLAN and WiMAX standards is designed. It’s verified that this program can greatly improve the efficiency of complicated structure antenna optimal design. |
