With the development of the communication technology, the application of Mobile Self-organized Network is becoming more and more widely. At the same time, the network is developed to the large scale. How to design a well scaled Routing Protocol is a challenging task. In this paper, the existing Routing Protocols for Ad Hoc Network are introduced. Then, considering the characteristics of the large scale Ad Hoc Network, we present a Cooperation Based Small World Routing Protocol(CBSRP), in which small world phenomenon is applied to relieve the broadcast storm in multi-hop network. Because small world theory is not suitable for space network, cooperative communication is involved to get longer path and short time delay. Simulations of the proposed routing protocols are completed by OPNET Modeler with different node number, traffic and traveling speed. Results show that the proposed CBSRP is superior to the AODV and DSR, and cooperative communication explicitly improves the performance of network. |
