By utilizing the management process and collecting related data .on the bugs found during the project testing, the found bugs could be resolved and analyzed efficiently, furthermore, the recorded data could be used as a library for defect prevention and defect resolving and even defect prediction for not only the project but also the whole organization. The author has designed the data collecting, roles and responsibilities and other functionality based on designing the Bugs management process, these functions are structured and designed through the Defect Management System.The defect density impacted factors along with the way how it is impacted could be identified by mathematically analyzing the collected project and defect data, by the mathematical analysis the defect density prediction model could be generated, by using the current project and defect data in the prediction model, the project defect density could be predicted.The data collected by the organizational Effort Management System, Product Management System, Test Management System and Review Management System could be used for analyzing defect density, by implementing the analyzing methods in the system to automate the analyzing process, the Defect Prediction System could generate the defect density prediction model, by reading the data recorded in the current project the predicted defect density could be calculated. Therefore, a Defect Management and Prediction System is implemented.
