With the rapid development of information society and the mature of personal communication technology, the demand of data service, such as multimedia message, on-line game, music download and mobile TV, is sharply growing. Now commercially available mobile communication system is too complex and cost in the air interface and network interface structure, and there is also big room for improvement in the term of radio resource utilization and transmission delay.Therefore,3GPP long term evolution plan namely LTE is developed. 3GPP LTE project is the evolution of 3G standards, which improve and enhance the 3G air interface technology, using OFDM, MIMO, all IP networking and other advanced wireless communications technologies. LTE supports both FDD and TDD duplex mode. TD-LTE TDD access mode is based on TD-SCDMA to consider the evolution of existing networks and TD-LTE is the final evolution of TD-SCDMA system. As follow-up market demand, TD-LTE has been widely concerned.This paper has the emphasis on the study of the admission control techniques of TD-LTE system, and performance evaluation is further performed by system-level simulation.In the first chapter, the paper briefly introduces the research background, objectives of 3GPP LTE, and has done a brief overview of the work of this paper. In the second chapter, it introduces system structure and some key technologies in the LTE system, including the, frame structure for LTE system, physical technology such as the SC-FDMA technology, MIMO technologies, HARQ technology, Link Adaptation, introduces some of the radio resource management.In the third chapter, it introduces the LTE dynamic simulation platform in detail, including the main simulation flow and the various functional modules. The fourth chapter outlines some of the relevant LTE admission control, including factors related to admission control, admission control classification and several common admission control algorithm.In the fifth chapter, it highlights TD-LTE admission control algorithm adopted in the simulation platform, the implementation and results analysis. Finally, Chapter VI of this paper sums up the whole research work and gives some work prospects.
