Humans through a variety of ways to seek the possibility of the continuation of life, but will eventually face the facts of life and death comes to the end of the day, the contradiction between the two formed the universal anxiety of death. With the rapid development of economy and society nearly four decades, China’s rapidly aging society, the number of older people many choose to live in pension institutions. After the elderly stay pension institutions, faced with the physical and psychological re-adaptation, they are living within the state pension agency will determine whether it has a happy old age. When the organization faced by the elderly physical function degradation, leaving inmates and emotional loneliness, anxiety about death is that they can not avoid the issue.From this study, the first step on the theoretical preparation at home and abroad on the basis of study of death anxiety qualitative or quantitative research, focusing on discussion and analysis within the Institutionalized Elderly psychological needs, and resolve the cause of death anxiety and death anxiety its influence, trying to build a death anxiety pension institutions within the emotional impact on the elderly theoretical system, so as to lay a solid theoretical foundation for the next substantive work.
