English writing is the emphasis and difficulties on the middle school English learning. How to improve the students’ writing ability is always concerning for the researchers. Different evaluation will make different influence to students’ writing. The existing English writing evaluation machanism is single and summative assessment, but it has some disadvantages: The teacher has more work to do, they maybe not look after all students’ articles. The summative assessment results the students pay more attention to the scores not the process of modified. So the researchers put forward peer assessment that is an evaluation focus on student’s assessments, they assess each other. In some extent it solve the problem of single and summative assessment in traditional evaluation.In recently years, with the wide application of information network technology, the rise of large-scale online courses, students’ learning style changes to the current diversified learning modes such as the online learning from the original single traditional classroom learning. The change of learning style must lead to the change of evaluation. The based on line peer assessment gradually entered the view of the researchers and caused wide public concern. It has the following two advantages: On On-line learning, peer assessment can reduce the financial burden on the teachers to some extent; the second, now the social constructivism has the range of identify, then the peer assessment is accord with what the social constructivism advocated that in the social and cultural situation builds their own knowledge through interacting with others.At present, on-line peer assessment just risen in our country. There are fewer related researches about on-line peer assessment, especially about weather the on-line peer assessment could improve the students’ English writing ability and the effects to learning.This paper aims to study the following questions:1、What effects will online peer assessment make that include cognitive domain, learning interesting and learning attitude;2、how to establish online peer assessment framework to improve the effectiveness;3、The applicability of the online peer assessment to our middle school students;This paper adopts the way of combining quantitative research and qualitative research. First, introduces the general situation of the junior high school’s English composition evaluation in our country. Then, the paper introduces the study status of online peer assessment; Through questionnaire survey, experimental research, the experimental data, using the contrast experiment and the former test after test results, obtained the related experimental data.Finally discuss the research of the three problems, then obtained experimental results :The experimental results show that: 1、Students has more interested in online peer assessment of English composition model; 2、On-line peer assessment of English writing can effectively improve students’ grades; 3、On-line peer assessment model on English writing is reasonable and reliable; 4、The assessment framework is one of the key factors to facilitate the effective evaluation.In a word, through the experiment research, found that online peer assessment is suitable for junior middle school English writing teaching, and it has the positive impact on junior middle school English writing teaching.The author looks forward to providing some beneficial supplement to online peer assessment in the present stage of the application and the research results through the research.
