On February 26,2014, "Suggestions on promoting the institutionalization of voluntary-service", by the Central Institute of civilization, states the necessity of broadening the volunteer service and establishing the service platform.Based on health-care, psychological counseling, volunteer-service should be designed to meet public needs and solve public problems. At present, the volunteer service consciousness has been deeply accepted by most of the people, "If you have any troubles, come to volunteers; if you have time, join in the volunteers" is recognized by the whole nation, and more and more young people have joined the volunteer team.At the same time, China’s aging population is growing at an annual rate of 3%, this makes the country rated on the list of the aging society. However, with the growth of aging population, the small family structure and the limitation of social service, the responsibility of public hospitals for protecting human health, and the exploration in the field becomes necessary.Hefei Binhu Hospital, (a member of The First People’s Hospital Group of Hefei), located in the southern district, and as a level of first-class general hospital in Anhui Province, firstly studies "combining medical treatment with recuperation combine treatment and maintenance ". The new mode, Medical-Nursing Combined care mode, is a long-term care ward and is the special example of this article, combines medical treatment, nursing, rehabilitation, health care, health education, pensions.This article takes Hefei Binhu Hospital as an example, describes the volunteer service organizations, activities, incentive assessments, intends to establish the long-term mechanism of hospital youth volunteer service from the aging perspective, and promote the youth volunteers in the development of medical and health system.
