| Paid annual vacation means that if workers work with a certain time, they will have the rights to enjoy the vacation every year retaining job and salary in accordance with the law. Paid annual vacation system holds a connotation, which is different from resting right, cultural right and laboring right system. It functions to protect citizen rights to have a holiday, to collocate labour resource in reason and to harmonize the labour-and-capital relations. However, the paid annual vacation system has lots of problems during the development in China, such as the inequality existing in citizen holiday-rights, substance substitutability of holiday-rights and irrationality of holiday-period. On the basis of investigation to the outside paid vacation system and using for reference, the thesis puts forward some methods that by strict implementation of vacation system, equal protection and rational management of holiday-period to reinforce a better development of the paid annual vacation system in China. |
