Analysis Of Traditional Western Ecological Political Theory

Since the industrial revolution, the global environment has been an unprecedented severe damage and pollution, ecology crisis become the generation and development of ecological political movement and the foundation. Not only the development of the capitalist countries facing the serious ecological environment problems, the socialist countries also face the serious ecological environment problems. In recent years, China’s reform and opening up great achievements have been obtained at the same time, are faced with the challenge of ecological crisis. The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China has put the ecological civilization construction and economic construction, political construction, cultural construction, social construction,"One of the five" the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics; it serves to show the Communist Party of China’s ecological environment concern and attention. At present our country in theory and practice of the scientific theory of ecological politics would have to be established. Study western traditional ecological politics, strategic decisions for the construction of ecological civilization of the communist party of China, to provide theoretical reference to enrich the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics on the development of the system, but also to enrich and develop the construction of ecological civilization of the relevant theories, issues related to provide reference for further academic study.This paper consists of five parts:The first part mainly discussed in this paper, the research purpose and research significance, research status and development trend both at home and abroad, and puts forward the research methods and innovations of this article. The second part is relevant concept definition and theoretical basis, the definition of ecological politics, traditional western ecological thought and modern ecological political thoughts were enumerated. Third part is the most important theoretical support; this article combed represented by Aristotle, Jean Bodin, John Locke, and Montesquieu kinds of ecological view of western political ideologist, and political thought. The fourth part summarized the western tradition of political ideologist ecological inheritance and influence of political thought. The fifth part summarizes the western traditional and modern ecological political thought enlightenment to our country. Have a positive impact on western ecological politics thought, has its limitations, but it is necessary for us to take a rational attitude towards the western theory of ecological politics to absorb the reasonable factors. Actively promote the public political participation, strengthen environmental protection, perfect the legal system, strengthen the ecological responsibility and build a conservation-minded society, common but differentiated responsibility to strengthen international cooperation, with ecological politics to promote construction of ecological civilization system.
