As for literary translation, this is more important. A good rhetoric in literary translation can be regarded as the key of the success of literary translation. Literary translation and rhetoric are closely related. The rhetoric of translation directly determines the readability of the translation. It is quite important to research the rhetorical problems in literary translation. It can not only guide the practice of literary translation, but also enrich the translation theory. The relationship between translation and rhetoric is the basis of the study of rhetoric in translation. The research of translation and rhetoric is both common and different. Depending on this, this paper is about the basic principles and essence of the rhetoric of literary translation. In the practice of translation, the translator is influenced by the language style of the original writers: the translation of the target language, the environment of the target language and the target audience. These aspects restrict the rhetorical choice of the target text. And at the end of this paper, we choose the Chinese Translation of Anna Karenina as example, compare and analyze them, summarize translation rhetorical choice, and try to research the rhetoric of literature translation in three aspects: image, lyric and humor.
