Middle school students are in the important period of their whole developmental life, and all aspects of their physical and mental development are widely brought to the attention of the society. Learning burnout is a common learning problem, that is to say students lack learning motivation but have to learn, so be tired of learning and produce a kind of exhausted psychological experience, finally resulting in a decline in academic performance. The concept perceived social support developed from the concept social support, and said to individuals’feeling and evaluation to social help. Compared with social support, perceived social support has more practical significance for the individual. Peri-urban rural is a product in the process of urban rapid development, and it has taken place a great of changes in various aspects compared with the traditional rural. Students between peri-urban rural middle school and traditional rural middle school also have a great of differences. In this paper,518students from Tianjin shuanggang middle school and Henan lihe middle school were surveyed with questionnaire. And this paper was studying for the relevant between middle school students’ learning burnout and perceived social support, and compared the differences between the traditional rural students and peri-urban rural students. The article drew the following conclusions:1. Middle school students’ learning burnout is moderate, and learning burnout has significant differences in gender, grades and schools. Specifically saying is boys’ learning burnout is serious than girls’, the situation of the senior is serious than the junior’, and the traditional rural middle school students’is serious than the peri-urban rural middle school students’.2. Middle school students comprehend a higher level of social support, and the perceived social support has significant differences in gender, grades and schools. Specifically saying is girls realize more social support than boys, the junior comprehend more social support than the senior, and peri-urban rural middle school students comprehend more social support than traditional rural middle school students.3. The students’ learning burnout and the perceived social support have an obvious negative correlation.4. Middle school students’ perceived social support has a significant predict effect to learning burnout.On the basis of the research conclusions, the author puts forward some learning suggestions to improve the middle school students’ learning burnout, including schools, families, and students their own three aspects. Hoping that can make a little contribution to today’s middle school education career.
