Two hundred and twenty-four Taihe silky fowls at one-day-old were randomly allotted to 4 treatments with 4 replicates and every replicate 14 fowls. The first treatment was fed with Bacillus subtilis C-3102, the second with Enterococcus faecium DSM-7134, the third with Bacillus subtilis C-3102+Enterococcus faecium DSM-7134, and the control group fed on basal diet. At the end of 4,8 and 12 weeks of age, two birds from each replicate were killed by bleeding, and their growth performance and biochemical indexes were detected and analysed. After the experiment,28 birds selected from each group above and totally 112 Taihe silky fowls of 12 weeks age was used by heat stress study. One half of each group was allotted to normal temperature and half of them by heat stress. Feeding method was the same as above. Four birds from each replicate was killed by bleeding after 7 days study, and their growth performance and biochemical indexes were detected and analysed. The results showed that:(1) There was no significantly different on performance in Taihe silky fowls of experiment groups, but they had a trend of enhance average daily gain; treatment IH can significantly increase Taihe silky fowls dressing rate and brisket rate of 4 weeks age, bursa fabricius of 8 weeks age and index and spleen index of 12 weeks age. Treatment I can increase Taihe silky fowls brisket rate of 4 weeks age and spleen index of 12 weeks age.(2) All treatments can significantly increase heart melanin of Taihe silky fowls of each period; and Enterococcus faecium and its combination group can enhance skin melanin, significantly to 12 weeks age of Taihe silky fowls. There was no significant effects on muscle melanin contain of each treatment.(3) Every probiotics can increase Taihe silky fowls serum TP of 4 weeks age; treatment I can enhance Taihe silky flows CK-MB at 8 weeks and reduce LDL at 12 weeks significantly. Treatment II can reduce LDH, BUN of 12 weeks age and significantly increase ALP and TG at 12 weeks. Treatment III can reduce LDH and BUN significantly at 12 weeks.(4) Probiotics can improve bursa of fabricius indexes of Taihe silky flows, but no significant difference.
