With the tobacco Yunyan 87 using for research object, this paper used field test in tobacco science and technology park in Heishi town of Weining county to study the influence of different nutrient water-retaining agents on the drought resistance effect of tobacco and the influence of different mulching measures on the drought resistance effect of tobacco.Through the contrast analysis we can choose the better effect of drought resistant cultivation measures, provide technical reference for high quality tobacco production.The test results are as follows:1.The relative water content of topsoil was improved observably by nutrient water-retaining agents in each growing stage of tobacco.Jinmain which is a nutrient water-retaining agent can make soil maintain a higher moisture content and its effect of water conservation was the best. The measure of straw mulching after film increased the rhizosphere soil relative water content effectively in the different growth period of tobacco.2.The application of nutrient water-retaining agent could significantly improve the height,stem circumference,pitch and leaf area of tobacco and lay the foundation for the yield increase of tobacco.3.Tobacco’s growth was boosted remarkably by nutrient water-retaining agent.Tobacco’s physiological mechanism influenced significantly by nutrient water-retaining agent.The application of nutrient water-retaining agent can increase the content of chlorophyll,decrease the content of soluble sugar, proline and malondialdehyde, increase the net photosynthetic rate and decrease the transpiration rate of tobacco.These are good for high quality tobacco production.Jinmain can increase soil moisture and reduce the degree of tobacco under drought stress,so that the tobacco increased more chlorophyll than others,decreased more soluble sugar,proline and malondialdehyde,the net photosynthetic rate increased more than others and the transpiration rate decreased more than others.The measure of straw mulching after film that the content of chlorophyll was more than others, the content of soluble sugar, proline and malondialdehyde were lower than others, the net photosynthetic rate and the transpiration rate were higher than others, so its drought effect is betterthan others.4.The content of neutral aroma components in tobacco can be increased by applying nutrient water-retaining agent.The content of carotenoid, brown products,phenylalanine, cembranoids and neophytadiene in neutral aroma components in the tobacco which had used Jinmain. The coordination of tobacco can be improved by water agent.The coordination of tobacco which used Jinmain and Maisubao was better than others.In the experiment about mulch cultivation, the content of total sugar and reducing sugar in tobacco was a little low, the content of nicotine, total nitrogen and potassium in tobacco was a little high by straw mulching. The compatibility of the straw mulching mode after the former film is the best, which is favorable for the production of high quality tobacco.5.The treatment of different water retention agents have the effect on the quality of tobacco, and can improve the yield and quality of tobacco.The yield and value of Jinmain treatment were the highest and the average price of Maisubao treatment was the highest.The production value of tobacco by using Jinmain and Maisubao, then Genbite and Rooting and turning color nutrients, the production value of Jiete treatment was the lowest.In the experiment about mulch cultivation,the yield and value with the treatment of the former film coverage were the highest,and its economic benefits was the best.
