| Due to the relative variability of farmland harsh natural environment, the traditionalmeans of collection can no longer meet the needs of modern agriculture. There are three mainforms for meteorological data transmission.Firstly, wired data transmission; Secondly,long-distance transmission of data through wireless communication Station; Lastly,short-range wireless communication. Whereas, long-distance wireless communication is thedevelopment trend of modern agricultural data transmission.GPRS is a wireless long-distance communication. Always-on, low communication costs,high-speed data transmission speed and the shorter time network access make it particularlysuitable for sudden, frequent small volume data transmission."Decentralized monitoring,centralized processing" mode was adopted in farmland monitoring system.Variousmeteorological sensors, A/D conversion circuit and filter circuit were included in weatherinformation acquisition processing module, mainly completed acquisition and processing ofweather information; The data was stored in data storage module; GPRS communicationmodule completed the network connection to the Internet, and wireless transmission ofmeteorological information; Data monitoring center completed display, storage,and query ofdata and so on.This paper presented a low power and low cost monitoring system. The main functionwas to monitor farmland temperature, humidity, light, CO2, windspeed, rainfall and othermeteorological parameters. Hardware design and software development were included in thisstudy. The establishment of lower machine platform was included in hardware design,completed the acquisition, processing, communication and low-power circuit design. Theacquisition, processing, communication and low-power programming of lower machine, aswell as PC software programming were included in software development. The experimentalresults showed that: Climatic data center was stable, the data can stablily be recepted anddisplayed. GPRS-based monitoring system with low cost, low power and reliablecommunication, was a preferred farmland meteorological data monitoring solution. |
