Research On The History Of Shijiazhuang City Construction In Early-modern Times

Compared to those trading ports city and the traditional city, Shijiazhuang belongs to a typical newborn small city since early-modern. The modern city construction of Shijiazhuang is the source of development, it is necessary to introduce the city construction history, development process. The transportation hub of the city development, the spatial pattern of evolution, management organization to conduct a comprehensive analysis can be referred and Chinese autonomous participation is the main force of city development, public participation plays an important role in the development of the city.This thesis is divided into three parts and consisted of total mainly seven chapters.The first part:the first chapter is the introduction, which contains the research purpose and significance, research object and content, research methods, technical route and both foreign and domestic research state on the situation of Shijiazhuang early modern city planning and construction.The second part:including the second chapter to the fifth chapter, is the main part of the paper. The second chapter describes the geographical position of Shijiazhuang City, history and modern development of the political and economic background, and put forward the history of Shijiazhuang early modern city planning and construction.The third part:the seventh chapter is feature analysis and conclusion, Summary of the evolution of early modern city planning and construction of Shijiazhuang and the basic characteristics, The third chapter to the sixth chapter separately from the development of city construction, city planning and city management practice development point of view, discusses the characteristics of each historical period which are the formation of the Early-modern city and the city modernization of exploration (1901-1925); the establishment of the Early-modem municipalization and the expansion of Early-modem city planning and construction (1925-1937); the city planning and construction in wartime, and the progress of the Early-modem city planning (1937-1947); the convalescence of Early-modem city planning and construction since liberation, and The establishment of the modern city planning (1947-1952) This thesis aims to analyze the evolution of city planning and construction in modern times such a special period of time and contribute to the perfection of China’s system of modern urban planning and historical research by collating historical documents and data. The study looking forward to realizing the transformation from the "historical facts" to the "historical cognition", and providing reference for the development of Shijiazhuang and the "Beijing Tianjin Hebei" of the city planning. It has certain use value and practical significance.
