The information collection system for electric power user which is now beingvigorously construction and applications, This system covers all electricity customersin the State Grid Corporation System, collecting all information of the power andsupporting comprehensive tariff control, The data collected by the power informationcollection system will be comprehensively used in the network planning, safetyproduction, management, better service and integration work for electricity. Datatransmission problem becomes particularly important, the reliable field datacollection and transmission to the master station is fundamental to achieve intelligentgrid, research on smart meter data transmission problem, it effectively improve thesuccess rate of data acquisition, and lay a solid foundation for deepening theapplication of electricity data collection and management system. Power LineCommunication (PLC) is the principal means of smart meter data transmissionchannels, reliability of data transmission direct response deepen smart meterapplications and effects. Residents in single-phase smart meter data transmissionneeds carrier communication, it’s just a full-carrier and carrier half points. Dataacquisition by electricity management system can collect the user’s current, voltage, power, power factor, the current total active power, power and other data last month. It can improve the user’s ability to monitor the information of power. But in thecarrier communications, data loss will occurs in data transmission. The success rate ofdata acquisition is about95%, By studying the reliability of data transmission, takento reduce the transmission of data bytes and carrier transmit power, it makes theaverage success rate of daily data collection above98.5%.
