Research On Monitoring And Locating Of The Damage Point Of Urban Pipeline Anticorrosion Coating

In order to improve the life of the gas pipeline, ensure the safe and stable supply of gas pipeline network, it is necessary to do periodical check on the pipeline corrosion status and and obtain the most udpdated pipleline corrosion technology information. This paper is based on a research focusing on corrosion detection theory and real equipment applicantions; Beijing Gas group, Branch office 1st’s provids site investigation and trace detection real data, which was collected from partially buried steel gas pipeline with over 20 years service life. Based upon the data, an analysis on corossion status and the corrosion protection effects were conducted, and here comes a proposal on pipeline preparation and treatment. In addition to this, site investigation and data analysis are also conducted for peer companies’ gas piple corrosion protetion.
