In modern military development, Meteorological elements for decision-makingand military deployment often plays a very important role. This gives higherrequirements to meteorological test system. From the current situation ofdevelopment, the existing automatic meteorological test instrumentation has manyimperfections, such as a weak signal processing capability, low accuracy, poormobility and reliability. Thus, making meteorological test instrument to meetmilitary needs is imminent.In this paper, the authors designed a vehicular meteorological monitor, whichuses a detachable vehicular structure, can achieve the five high-precisionmeasurements of meteorological elements, including temperature, humidity,atmospheric pressure, wind speed, wind direction. Through CAN bus data transfermode, the vehicle can be directly connected with the internal control system whichmeets the current military needs. This paper completed the design andimplementation of vehicular meteorological monitor, including the overall design,hardware design, software system design, system test and system uncertaintyanalysis.In the overall program design, through the analysis of vehicular meteorologicalmonitor design requirements, determine the types of the system, the overall designof the signal and the components of meteorological monitor software and overallworkflow. In the hardware section, measuring unit designed and studied themulti-parameter sensor data fusion and self-calibration between temperature andbarometric pressure, air pressure and wind speed calibration algorithm. Hardwaresystem with CAN bus master controller uses the function infineon XC866microcontroller as the core data processing and communications, and then design apower supply module and a data acquisition module. In the software section, usingKeil to achieve a single-chip system software design and CAN bus communicationprocedures. Finally, studied the steps in the evaluation of measurement uncertaintyand methods, and analyzes the uncertainty of all five element sensors.The vehicular meteorological monitor is tested in Heilongjiang Environmentaltesting and analysis R&D center. The results of testment shows that functions andperformances of the monitor are able to meet the expected demand.
