The measurement of pulsed magnetic impedance is the basic requirement of ensuringthe security of discharging tests. Measuring and monitoring the inductance of magnet toensure the integrity and good condition of the internal structure of magnet, as wellmeasuring the resistance of magnet offers the cooling time reference and standard. It is veryimportant to guarantee the security of next discharging test. Therefore, to accuratelymeasure the inductance and resistance values is extremely vital in the pulsed magnetic fieldexperiments.Through the study of the impedance measurement methods, we change the solution ofthe system, which obtain the inductance and resistance value separately. In the premise ofensuring the unity of the main measurement circuit, we use two independent systems, anAC current generation module and a DC current generation module. The AC part is used tomeasure inductance; the DC part is used to measure resistance. And then, use the modularthought of hardware and software, and think fully about the selection and process of FFTalgorithm to guarantee the unity, reliability and stability of the entire measurement system. The article discusses the respective advantages and reasons for selection of the AC andDC current measurement system, and makes lots of detailed analysis by focusing onsoftware algorithm of AC current system and the measurement accuracy of DC currentsystem. Finally, we use the measurement system to make lots of experiments of pureinductance, pure resistance and magnets. By analysis of the experimental data, we make aconclusion that the measurement accuracy of inductance value is better than0.05%, as wellas the measurement accuracy of resistance value. So, the system can meet the requirementof the magnetic impedance monitoring.
