With the increasing development of China’s urbanization, land using extracts tomountain where the formation structures become incredible complex, thus foundationtreatment is becoming particularly important. There are many ways for foundationtreatment, generally they can be roughly divided into two broad categories:consolidation and reinforcement. According to different engineering many factors likesafety, economy and applicability should be took in consideration comprehensively.The disposal project site which is described in this paper is located in Xi ma gouvillage.Take a overall consideration with prospecting reports provided by geologicalprospecting department and various ground treatment methods, and evaluate thescheme using the theory of multi-objective fuzzy optimization, then come to the finaldecision adopting the dynamic compaction method to deal with the engineeringfoundation problems.In this paper, the design theory of the dynamic compaction method and thespecific construction parameters selection, the dynamic compaction constructionscheme and effect test, and this project effect simulation using the finite elementanalysis software ABAQUS are mainly introduced. Specifically, through the analysisof vibration wave consolidation theory and dynamic consolidation theory andin-depth exploration the mechanism of the dynamic compaction method incombination with shallow plate test of the project after disposal, it was certified thatfoundation bearing capacity satisfy the design requirements and using dynamiccompaction method to treat the foundation problem of this project isreasonable.Finally, in the numerical analysis stage, by using ABAQUS to simulateconstruction effect of dynamic compaction method, and analyze the constructioneffect of the dynamic compaction, the relationship function between factors affectingthe effective reinforcement depth and the effective reinforcement depth from theamount of ram sink down, the maximum principal stress, and the distribution ofequivalent plastic area, thus, the best tamping scheme of the project was put forward,which can also provide experience for the application of dynamic compaction methodin the future and promote the development of the dynamic compaction method.
