Numerous domestic and international oilfield promote horizontal well as the best way to exploit marginal oil reserves which having low permeability, thin reservoir, heavy oil and less reserves. The strings were often stuck when running in or pulling out the horizontal well because the number of down hole tools is very large and the well bore structure is very particular. Moreover, the high temperature and high pressure during the fracturing process could destroy the fracturing strings and tools. So, the simulation calculation and force analysis for the fracturing strings and tools are necessary for the safety of string.In this article, when optimizing the spacing between two centralizers, the fracturing string between two adjacent centralizers is considered as a bending beam which both ends were considered as hinge constraint. Assuming that the fracturing strings were only contacted with the borehole wall at the place where centralizer is installed during the process of force analysis, in another meaning, the fracturing strings and borehole wall is point contact. Finally, five criteria were given to judge whether the fracturing string can run in the horizontal well.on the basis of theoretical analysis, developed the software ―Running Ability Analysis of Fracturing Strings in Horizontal Well‖. The software has the database containing common parameters of pipeline and casing, fracturing parameters, and illustrations of down hole tools. The most parameters used in the calculation process were inputted in the way of selecting to reduce the error probability. The software display axial force, stress and safety coefficient intuitively and accurately in the form of tables and graphics. The software also has the function that adding tools and warning.The software ―Running Ability Analysis of Fracturing Strings in Horizontal Well‖ was developed by Visual basic, its interface was friendly and easy to operate. The generated executable file can be separated from the original development language and run independently. The software can solve most problems about fracturing string structure design and stress analysis of the horizontal well. Example verification proves that the calculation results of the software were consistent with the actual situation. Therefore, the software is the necessary tools for horizontal well fracture, and its application prospect is widely.
