Analysis On Land Ecological Capacity Based On Ecological Footprint Method In Yushu City

The Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC has brought the construction of ecological civilization into the general arrangement of socialist construction with Chinese characteristics in due form officially, that means our country has already realized that a series of ecological problems after rapid urbanization through about more than 30 years. The “4.14” violent earthquake impels reconstruction principle of Yushu City—the ecological trade and tourism city in plateau, it also bands the ecological value ofthis area that located in the origin of rivers, the feature of underdevelopment in western minority concentrated region and the unique geological speciality in the cities of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau together organically.The ecological characteristics and ecological value of Yushu City relate to our country directly, even though Southeast Asia.It can not be allowed to sacrifice the ecological resources for short-term economic development during the reconstruction, the use of land resources should be kept within a reasonable limit that ecologicalsystem can hold.The research of land ecological capacity is becoming the key to resolve the ecological problems of urban sustainable development since the conception of capacity has lead into the Ecology.Ecological footprint method could estimate the ability of land systemic self-regulation, the supply and capacity of resources in actual area withemphasis on ecology. This article bases on modified model of ecological footprint method, with technology of RSand GIS, reveals the dynamic tendency of ecological footprint and land ecological capacity from 1995-2013 in Yushu City. The results show that the variation of ecological footprint per capita of Yushu City in 1995-2013 is 1.1185hm2-1.5012hm2, ecological footprint shows an increasing trend; the variation of land ecological capacity per capita is 11.7323hm2-6.9689hm2, land ecological capacity shows an decreasing trend. Research results show that land ecological surplus is decreasing, ecological footprint per 10 thousand GDP is decreasing, and land ecological pressure is increasing. Although the research presents land ecological surplus, but in consideration of the ecological fragility of this area, the situation is not optimistic. The ecological contradiction will arise in future.This article offersmore targeted advices for optimizing the condition of land ecological capacity andrelieving land ecological contradiction. Yushu City should optimize the land ecological capacity reasonably by the points of green development and sustainable development, furthermore, speed up the construction of ecological tourism, improve the function of land ecological services in a scientific way, and optimize the land ecological capacity in a sensible way.
