| The bamboo industry wastewater is directly discharged after simple treatment in Anji county. It causes much pollution to the environment. It has been largest environmental problems of the bamboo products industry’s in Anji. The bamboo industry wastewater has characteristics with high concentration of organic matters, low p H value, and a certain chromaticity, etc. The work investigated treatment of the bamboo industry wastewater by the laboratory experiment. The feasible treatment process was recommended according to the study results and, based on the characteristics of bamboo production wastewater in Anji county.For the bamboo cooking wastewater with the characteristics of chemical oxygen demand(CODCr) 26000 mg/L, biochemical oxygen demand(BOD) 200 0mg/L, suspended solids(SS) 300 mg/l, chroma2000, p H 3.5, it was observed that the static anaerobic treatment,dynamic anaerobic treatment, aerobic treatment had obvious effect on the removal of those pollutants. The results indicated that thesewage had characteristics of easy biodegradability and can be treated by biochemical processing. The ‘anaerobic- aerobic biological’ processes can be adopted as the core of treatment process.According to the laboratory study results, it was designed that the engineering and processes of bamboo industry wastewater treatment. The processes of ‘acidification – anaerobic treatment-aerobic treatment with two stages- secondary sedimentation- sand filter- activated carbon adsorption’ were used to deal with bamboo industry wastewater. The treated water quality were as follows,CODCr 20-60 mg / L, NH4-N 9-14 mg / L, p H 6 ~ 9.The results of the work showed that quality of the treated bamboo industry wastewater met the requirement of first grade of GB8978-1996(Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard). |
