First, in the view of business development, thesis is for improving Mag Group Corporation’s competitive advantage in feasible, scientific and effective way with marketing strategy. By deeply analyzing business environment, business model, competitive advantage and competitive disadvantage for Mag Group Corporation, it is necessary to formulate a marketing strategy of instruments of surveying and mapping by literature study, SWOT analysis, Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model analysis, EFE(External Factor Evaluation Matrix) and IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix), BSC(Balance Score Card) and inductive method, which has a practical significance.Second, internal environment analysis and external environment analysis are made comprehensively for Mag Group Corporation with the conclusion that macro environment has tremendous influence on survey industry and surveying instrument development. Mag Group Corporation is not only facing the upper trend of industry but also is under threat from growing competitors in the critical stage. Internal environment analysis reveals that corporation has obvious competitive advantage over its competitors, but should improve organization structure and management model. Study on SWOT, Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model, IFE, is made for analyzing core competitiveness and determining the line of development. In the end, high value strategy, customer orientation strategy and differential strategy are formulated for marketing strategy of instruments of surveying.The formulation and implementation of marketing strategy of surveying instrument for Mag Group Corporation plays an important role in guiding the marketing.
