With the development of modern wireless communication technology, on-chipsystem, wireless sensor network consisting of a large number of self-organizingcapacity of the sensor nodes are widely used in all areas of society, and to bring theconvenience of modern society. Sensor nodes in wireless sensor networks throughcooperative sensing real-time monitoring and data acquisition monitoring environment, followed by single-hop or multi-hop transmission will collect data sent to the sink node. However, due to the limitations of the energy of the sensor nodes in wireless sensornetworks, the number is very large, and these sensor nodes are generally laid in theenvironment is relatively poor monitoring area, will result in the maintenance andreplacement of sensor nodes is difficult. Then the sensor nodes excess deaths means thatthe wireless sensor network is difficult to continue to monitor the environment. So,wireless sensor networks is different from traditional wireless networks, many of thetraditional network technology is difficult to continue to be applied to wireless sensornetworks. As a core technology in wireless sensor networks, routing protocol is requiredresearchers to develop and implement. How to design one for the energy characteristicsof wireless sensor networks, a balanced energy efficient wireless sensor network routingprotocol is a network of wireless sensor network urgent problem.Routing protocol as one of the core technologies of wireless sensor networks, has agreat role in the performance of the wireless sensor networks. A wireless sensor networkrouting protocols need to be allocated on a reasonable basis the number of workinghours of the sensor nodes in the wireless communication module to improve the lifecycle and performance of the network. Based on existing wireless sensor networkrouting protocols are facing energy efficiency and energy hole problem, through theestablishment of cross-layer model, the uneven clustering algorithm, the main resultsare as follows:(1) analysis of the importance of wireless sensor network routing protocol design,to classify the existing routing protocols, wireless sensor networks classic hierarchicalrouting protocol LEACH protocol and analyzed its inadequacies;(2) the existing wireless sensor networks importance of cross-layer design ideas for analysis, and discussed the role of the wireless sensor network performance at all levelsof the network, after the wireless sensor network cross-layer model design provide atheoretical basis.(3) discussed the phenomenon of energy hole in the wireless sensor networks andexisting the unequal clustering thinking to solve the problem of energy hole routingprotocol analysis, and the inadequacies of the proposed routing protocol.(4)cross-layer model of a new type of wireless sensor networks, by contactbetween the layers of the network layer, data link layer and physical layer analysis toexplain the layers of the network parameters of the other layers and networkperformance and life cycle and explain the actual monitoring of environmentalparameters between reasonable choice at all levels of the network share, effectivelyimprove the performance of wireless sensor networks.(5)based on energy efficient and balanced thinking, a new non-uniform clusteringrouting algorithm. By analysis of the model for a single node energy consumption, todraw energy model parameters, and the combination of the characteristics of asingle-hop and multi-hop routing, in accordance with the probability of selection of thenext-hop relay node, balanced network energy consumption, prolong the network lifecycle. Followed by constructing a non-uniform cluster network topology, a bettersolution to the energy hole problem in wireless sensor networks.
