Research And Application Of Digital Campus Student Management System

Currently, the number of the college students in our country has exceeded25million people, and the number of students in the smallest college has been about amillion people. So the Student Status Management System in colleges, which has a lotof data and important resources, not only is a key part from the students’ enrollment tograduation, but also it is the most important content of management in colleges. Makingthe Student Status Management System scientific, standardized and informational isessential for modernized management in the colleges and the source of stepping to anew level and development in an all-around way of colleges. Besides, it is rewarding forrealizing management paperless and making the information management online.Based on the existing digital campus network and the hardware&softwareresources such as office automation systems, the thesis mainly discusses comprehensiveusage of ASP programming technology, Web World Wide Web technology, Accessdatabase technology, MIS management information system and B/S developmentmode, and the feasibility of development of System Management Software by ASPprogramming technology. By considering and designing the operating environment ofthe system, the overall architectural program, logical structure of database’s E-Rdiagram, the system is divided into several parts including the students’ informationmodule, the students’ transfer module, the management module of daily work, themanagement module for users and so on. At the same time, the system can be useful ininquiring, modifying, adding, deleting related data and be comprehensive, reliable, safe,compatible, efficient and stable in property. Finally, through the test ranging from thestudents’ information module, the students’ transfer module, the management module ofdaily work to the management module for users, the system fully meet the expectantobjectives. The Student Status Management System in colleges becomes more scientific,efficient in functionality and property by the trials of Jiujiang Vocational UniversityExperimental results show that the system is stable, full-featured, practical and it isworth popularizing.
