With the rapid development of ontology research and application, a large number of openRDF documents have been published on the Web. Mankind have conducted a lot of researcheson information integration, at the same time, the industry is also looking for a standard, sharedway to build their Knowledge Base. Linked data can be well integrated these distributedsemantic information, and realize information integration of multiple data sources, sharing andreuse, so as to get better service. Building CLOD(Chinese Linked Open Data) of dangerouschemicals based on ontology technology, can make knowledge semantic, structured, andorganized with other domains of knowledge in a sharing and interconnected mode, which has animportant significance and application value. This paper first introduces the research background, significance and present situation ofdangerous chemicals domain ontology CLOD. By comparing the existing ontology constructionmethod, this paper combined the seven-step method and the framework law with the softwaredevelopment process, and proposed ontology construction method of dangerous chemicals, andcompleted the domain ontology construction, in order to achieve information sharing andtransparent access.Focusing on the problems of knowledge repeating, can’t be interconnected andinteroperation with other knowledge base, this paper improved the traditional associationalgorithm based on based on HowNet ontology mapping method, and mapped the ontologyknowledge base with zhishi.me Knowledge Base. The core of this paper include using protégé tobuild a model in the field of dangerous chemicals, adding instances to build ontology knowledgebase, identifying instances based on the HowNet similarity algorithm, which achieved ontologyknowledge base connected with zhishi.me CLOD, published ontology knowledge base, and builtCLOD.
