High-speed turntable system research aims at how to achieve high-speed andhigh-precision control objectivest, so as to provide a theoretical basis and practicalexperience on future developing of high-speed centrifuges, which can simulatespace inertial devices work environmen. According to high speed and precisionsystem requirements, designed precise angular position feedback measurement withabsolute encoder, the KEB motor and drive as actuator and amplifier, DSP andFPGA multicore as a digital control center which communicate with the computer torecord and analyze data. The paper focuses on the following aspects: KEB drives’parameter setting, embedded controller hardware design, system simulation, andjoint commissioning. Finally, design unbalance correction scheme as prospect:Electric control system focuses on hardware design and debugging process. Forthe angular position feedback measurement system, include the absolute encoderselection, signal receiving circuit design and debugging. Summarized signalwaveform of each measurement point including the reading head and FPGA relevantI/O ports, this conclusion can be a basis for troubleshooting for locate the faultpoint while malfunction. And then complete the embedded controller hardwarecircuits: communication module, digital to analog conversion module. KEB actuatorsection explain the use of the motor and driver; summarize experimental experience:wiring, parameter setting, note and so on. Show switching process between speedmode and torque mode in the KEB drive. During joint commissioning, encounterdifferent problems, then solved.The main software design program include: DSP program initialization, GPIOregisters, external bus configuration and communication of DSP and PC. Interruptprogram include: reading the absolute position information, control algorithmsexecution, control output and so on. Also designed programs for individualdemands.Turntable system debugging and implementation part analyzed the frequencycharacteristics of the object, then regulated. Referencing to theoretical simulation,debug the actual system. Achieve an arcsecond precision positioning function,01000rpm speed range and speed relative accuracy reached5×10-6.Balancing systems combine absolute encoder angular advantages, proposed themethod to located imbalance vector with micrometer. Introduced the Germanmicrometer and look forward to the online self-balancing scheme.
