Laser marking is the applications of laser technology in the laser industry at the endof the20th century,it is perfect combination of laser technology and computer technology.Compared with the traditional way of the marking, laser marking has the feature ofcontent flexibility, fast, low cost and no pollution. Meanwhile, since the laser markingdoes not contact the processing material, does not produce any mechanical deformation onthe surface of the workpiece, so its application scope has been greatly expanded. In orderto improve the efficiency of the laser marking, laser marking industry continuallyincreasing demands for the speed of laser marking control system, at the same time, due tothe fast response of the optical galvanometer scanner, more and more laser markingequipment manufacturers select galvanometer laser marking system. In this case, webegan to study the galvanometer laser marking control system.Galvanometer laser marking system mainly controls the X-Y galvanometer and laserequipment, in order to meet the requirements of high-speed, high-precision, on the basis ofa thorough understanding of how galvanometer laser marking system works, we proposeda systems solutions of"high-speed DSP&high-precision D/A". The program uses ahigh-speed DSP subdivide and correct the rough segmentation data issued in the PC, andsend the correction coordinate data to the high-precision D/A through the SPI bus, the D/Achip converted digital signal to+/-10V analog signal to control the X-Y galvanometer.This design gives full play to the powerful data processing capability of the DSP and highprecision performance of the D/A converter, it provides the foundation for high-speed,high-precision of the laser marking control system.The paper first gives the design specifications of the laser marking control system,and describes the important functions in detail; then introduces the hardware design of themarking control board, including the the main chip selection and board hardware design;and then introduces the DSP program design in detail, including data parsing layer,data-receiving layer and labeling processing layer. Next, a detailed analysis andimplementation method of the various functional modules are given. The details of thedifficulties in the implementation of the control system and solutions are introduced in the following article. Finally, this paper presents the ideas and methods of system testing,gives the results of the testing of the control system from the hardware functional testingand overall system performance test. The final results show that the laser marking controlsystem meets the design requirements of high-speed and high-precision.The hardware circuit and the design and implementation of the DSP software of thisproject has some versatility, and it gives certain reference value of how to improvemarking accuracy and marking speed.
