| With the developm ent of the m obile Internet, although the tr aditional TCP/IPprotocol has been able to m eet the re quests of data transm ission, the networkinfrastructure in part o f areas is still not th at perf ect, and the tra nsmission ofinformation through the TCP/IP network remains a problem in these areas. Theappearance of DTN network so lves the problem of infor mation transmission in theseareas. As one of the mobile communica tion devices, the sm art phone has beenincreasing popularity. It can be used as a DTN node becau se of the using by m anypersons. Thus, we propose the idea of the combination of the Android mobile terminalwith DTN network, and make theAndroid mobile terminals to DTN network nodes.After our analysis of DTN protocols, we develop DTN Android application basedon DTN2protocol at last. Service function m odule makes the daemon implemented.Daemon thread takes the appropriate approach for processing data by the detection ofevents occurred. Final realization of our application m akes Android mobile terminalas the intermediate node, which receives the bundles send from the source node, andtransmit these bundles to received node.The implementation of the pro ject is divided into interface design m odule andfunction module. The interface m odules interact with users. Service module handlesthe bundles, Such as bundle receiving, fo rwarding, storing and so on. Functionalmodular makes subsequent developm ent much easier, without ch anging the existedfunction modules, so it increases the scalability of the application.The realization of DTN protocol on A ndroid m obile term inal is of greatsignificance. It provides the opportunity for network communications for somenetwork infrastructure underdeveloped areas; reduces the cost of deploying network;Large-scale applications of the s mart phone can also increase the amount of datatransmission, so it has the significance of application. In addition, the combination ofthe smart phone with DTN network is an innovative practice. |
