Practical teaching is a new kind of teaching mode based on practice educationaltheories aiming at develop students’ practical abilities. Through practical teaching tocultivate students’ practical abilities, senior high school ideological and politicalteaching is the basis of college ideological and political teaching. By far, the studyand practical exploration of college ideological and political teaching is more thanthat of senior high school ideological and political teaching on which people scarcelyworking.Education is a successive and periodical process. However the disconnectionbetween primary education and higher education in training students’ practicalabilities is serious and can’t be ignored in our country. Generally, primary educationstill remains the knowledge-based level whack severely ignores the development ofpractical abilities. So only when students go to universities, do practical abilitiesbegan to be emphasized. But it’s hard to carry out because of the lack of practicalexperiences and qualities of students. Senior high school ideological and politicalpractical teaching is the effective implement of the theoretical teaching. It also givesideological and political teaching an access to effectiveness and help students developthe habit of the integration between words and actions. The purpose of senior highschool ideological and political practical teaching is consistent with the idea of newcurriculum reform, both of which put an emphasis on practice. The Senior HighSchool Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards (Experimental) stress theconnection between ideological and political and students daily life, promoteideological and political teaching to take "life" as the main line and stick to practicalteaching based on everyday practice.Through special and in-depth research and analysis of senior high schoolideological and political practical teaching both domestic and abroad and combiningthe current situation of senior high school ideological and political practical teaching,this article mainly analyze and discuss the problems and solution strategies on seniorhigh school ideological and political practical teaching in China.This article is composed of three parts: The first part describes the theoreticalbasis and conceptual interpretation of practice teaching; The second part analyzes thepractice teaching status of implementation and form factors; third part explores theimplementation of practical teaching approach.
