Sensory Symphony

The basic theory of the paper are synesthesia, artistic synesthesia, children’spicture books, children’s education and child psychology. After analyzing artisticsynesthesia in several children’s picture books, I try to draw a book by myself to combineartistic synesthesia with children’s picture books. The paper discusses the rationaluse of artistic synesthesia in children’s picture books and the significance of artisticsynesthesia for the healthy growing of children’s body and mind. The author ofchildren’s picture books deliberate pursuit of the artistic synesthesia during thecreation of the book, inspire sensory perception rather than vision of the reader. Theauthor need to use the special artistic form of children’s picture books which can helpchildren feel the transfer between senses. Artistic synesthesia makes children’s picturebooks more interesting and interactive, the sensory perception of children will be richerand more delicate. Artistic synesthesia can also cultivate children’s imagination andcreativity.
