In recent years the constant disputes in the South China Sea and the DiaoyuIslands, as well as the unresolved Taiwan issues and China’s long coastline. Therefore,it is imperative to improve China’s naval coastal warfare and amphibious operations.The amphibious ship owns the diving function, with the features of being fast andhidden in the water, being mobile and flexible in the land and being invisible underthe water. There are many functions it can serve. It will be a kind of powerful weapon.This paper has carried on the preliminary design of the overall program and eachmodule of the boat, and it conducts a3D modeling on the amphibious ship. And thenit analyzes and designs its promoted suspension function principle. It uses thesoftware to analyze the suspension ride comfort and safety. Finally it analyzes andsummarizes the methods of improving the speed of amphibious boats on the water.The main work of this paper has the following points:Firstly, it studies the data of related craft and vehicles of amphibious boats withdiving function, and analyzes the research status and the development tend of relatedvehicles and ships at home and abroad. It states the content, the key technology andinnovation of this research.Secondly, it composes the project plan of the amphibious craft with divingfunction, including the use of ship, hull, material, function parameters etc. It conductsthe project design on the function principle of each module, making sure the principaldimension of the hull, some vital parameters, thruster and the model selection of themain engine.Thirdly, It designs3-d shape for amphibious ship with the3d drawing softwaresolidworks.And it uses built-in plug-ins of solidworks to render the3-d shape, andbuild its3d shape effect picture. And it analyzes the estimation method of amphibiousvehicle center of gravity.Fourthly, by comparing the traditional amphibious vehicle and foreignhigh-speed amphibious vehicle, it analyses and summarizes several methods toimprove the speed of amphibious craft, including efficient propulsion device selection, design retractable wheel suspension system, planning the hydroplane. Finally, itsummarizes the design idea and method of designing hydroplane.Fifthly, to improve the water speed of the ship, it designs the promoted frontsuspension and rear suspension for amphibious craft, and designs the function whichcan prevent the failure. It established the analysis model of the double wishboneindependent suspension system with Adams software, and simulates and analyseskinematics parameters of the suspension by using the model. And it validates drivingcomfort, and safety of the rear suspension on land.
