Throughout the country, the modern new Grand Theatre springs up as the poets saying "where they stand", and it has become a sign of the development and construction of the cultural, it also lead the up trend of capital investment, area scale, technology and facilities. However compared with theater construction and operation of funds problem, more importantly, the operation of the theater management definitely traps the government and theater operators. The theater’s core business is performing, as a leader; the operation principle of the program based on modern management has become Consensus the theater operating principles of modern management based industry consensus. In recent years, great efforts have been put to cultivate the performing arts fine plays, lots of good, high-quality classical repertoire keeping emerging and the supply of the content of performance products are met. In addition, by the mature degree of the performing market becoming opening and the number of outstanding theatrical performances venues soared, these favorable conditions indicates that the theater must have to enter a new stage of modern, standardized and scientific management stage.As long as the diversity of its purpose, the difference of the degree of specialization of the individual theater, performance evaluation multidimensional and the complexity of the judgment with its ability, which are based on the existing evaluation foundation, it is hard to make an scientific and reasonable judgment in the actual operation and also not conducive to make an appropriate plan to develop for theaters. In this paper, we analysis characteristics of the performance product, domestic business model of theater operation and the whole process of its operation from the view of the status quo with theater performance operation management in China. And also we combing these operation management influenced factors which are social development, policy-oriented, industrial restructuring,, market competition and so on systematically. With summing up this microscope influenced factors in the process of theater performance operation management, which are the external social environment, macroscopic impact on the industrial environment, internal business management and the operation of project. Through those investment methods which are field research, expert advices and material analysis, in compliance with the principle of objective, scientific, systematic and comprehensive, based on the scientific data, by selecting indicators of the evaluation system, we use AHP and Delphi method to determine the weight of each index and ultimately establish the theater performance operation management evaluation index system. To verify the scientific soundness of the evaluation system, we verified the applicability and rationality of the development in theater performance business upon the theory of performance cinema system in our application research. By building the evaluation index system which is appropriate with our actual situation in theater operation management, this paper aims at providing a uniform criterion which can evaluate theaters’operation conditions and abilities. And further this criterion can also help governments and managers to make a comprehensive understanding of the aspects of status quo and existing shortages of the theater performances operating and also help to solve the shortage in the comprehensive analysis ability of theater performance operation management.
