The proportion of resilience of children was19.2%in theleft-behind children. The proportion of resilience among boys was higher than thatamong girls in the left-behind children. The difference between them has statisticalsignificant (χ2=6.177, P=0.013). There were no significant associations with theproportion of resilience of left-behind children regarding different grades (χ2=7.479,P=0.279). For the resilience of left-behind children, there were statistical significant differences between the only child, family income, self-esteem, Neglect, Negativecoping style, Active Coping Style, Family function (P<0.05). Result from multivariatelogistic regression analysis indicated that resilience among the left-behind children wereassociated with the scores of Self-esteem, moderate scores (OR=2.600), high scores(OR=8.657) compared to low scores. The only child (OR=1.402), Active Coping Style, high scores (OR=1.842) compared to low scores; Neglect (OR=0.596), Negative copingstyle, moderate scores (OR=0.378), high scores (OR=0.152) compared to low scores..Conclusion Many comprehensive influential factors were found to be involved inresilience among left-behind children. There are self-esteem, the only child, ActiveCoping Style, Negative coping style and Neglect which play an important role in thedevelopment of resilience among left-behind children.
