Modeling Study Of The Manchu Folk Paper-cut Decorative Patters

This thesis begins with the Manchu folk paper-cutting, design method and decorative characteristics of decorative patterns from three aspects which develop the detailed study in the modeling of Manchu folk paper-cut patterns. With detailed pictures, carries on the comprehensive analysis on the characteristics of Manchu folk paper-cutting style decorative patterns, so that more people understand the Manchu folk paper-cutting cultural connotation and perfect artistic style More and more people will get a better understanding of the cultural connotation and perfect artistic style of the Manchu folk paper-cutting with detailed pictures and comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of decorative patterns of Manchu folk paper-cutting. The research results can provide references and bases for modern design, but also provide a wide platform and space to carry forward and develop the folk intangible cultural heritage of the Manchu folk paper-cut. Through the research on the basic form of the Manchu folk paper-cut patterns, we can find out the rules of the basic pattern of Manchu paper-cut including plant, animal, character and geometric patterns. Thus the rules will provide theoretical basis for establishment of form system of Manchu folk paper-cut decoration patterns and the research on modeling characteristics.Through studying the method of Manchu folk paper-cut dermatoglyphic pattern modeling, and the shape modeling method of Manchu paper-cut, a full range of spatial modeling method, stylized modeling methods from which the deep meaning will be explored. Therefore, the result will enrich the research of the cultural value of Manchu paper-cut and as a reference for the construction of its aesthetic system.Through the research on the characteristics of Manchu folk paper-cutting which analyzes the most four prominent features from three aspects as following:firstly, Manchu paper-cut is based on image modeling, outside gives prominence to the contour and interior decorations. Secondly, Manchu paper-cut the uses of the perfect sexual the shape of characteristics. Thirdly, the Manchu paper-cut adopts the characteristics of arbitrariness modeling.
