| The experiment were settled in the town of SONGBO, YONGSHUN from2010-2011.5-7varieties were selected to research the characteristic of growth and development, the quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves, the economic benefits, and to investigate the suitable situation of every variety, in order to establish the theoretical basis of managing the varieties and the sustainable development on great quality of the flue-cured tobacco. Test conclusions are as follows:1) The growth of different varietiesThe field growth duration of K326is longer than that of YunYan87. NanJiang3and KRK26grew better, which were higher in plant height and more leaves, better expanding of upper leaves at maturing period. KRK26varied greatly for each year, especially in leaf blade area and the situation of expanding, YunYan87expressed better.2) The quality of different varietiesKRK26had outstanding performance in Physical characteristics, especially with bigger leave weight and blade area, larger leaf blade area, but its total sugar, reducing sugar and the nitrogen of upper leaves were on the high side. As for Yunyan87, its leaf weight was proper, the stem ratio of middle-upper leaves and the nitrogen content of upper leaves were a little bit higher, but its chemical components were in harmonious. The physical characteristics of K326was inferior to Yunyan87, and the annually difference was big. The chemical components of Xiangyan3and NC297basically meet the requirement of high quality tobacco.3) The economic benefits of different varietiesYunyan87and K326were suitable for the local cultivar, because they were moderate in yield and production value, high with first and middle-class tobacco, and the change of economic benefits in different years was little. But the KRK26was different. Nanjiang3was higher in economic benefits, yield and value, average price, the first-class tobacco. But the percent of the low-class tobacco of Xiangyan3was high.In conclusion, the growth and the quality of KRK26were outstanding but annually variation was digger, it needs a further research. Yunyan87and K326were common in growth, not so high in yield, but stable in quality and it need to adjust the measure to increase the economic benefits. |
